Day 6 - June 27

We left London this morning, headed to our ferry boat ride to France. London was a lot cooler than we expected, but luckily most of the rain we saw there came as we were leaving it today. Thanks for letting us visit, London!

After a restful drive to Portsmouth, we boarded our ferry for our 6hr45 min boat ride across the English Channel into Caen. I think I can safely speak for everyone in saying it was welcome change of pace. Everyone got to have some independence, hang out with friends, stretch their legs, and have a break from our packed itineraries. The food on board was great, too!
