Day 5 - June 26
Today, in a welcome change of pace, we left London for an excursion to Oxford, England. With a population of around 150,000 (compared to nearly 9 million of London) it was great to get to experience a different feel and speed of England. We had an opportunity to walk around town, have lunch, do a bit of shopping for Oxford swag, then have an entrance to Christ Church, one of the 39 colleges that make up University of Oxford.
After Oxford, we headed out to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. We most certainly didn’t have enough time to see everything comfortably, it was nevertheless fascinating to see all the props, sets, costumes, and many interactive exhibits celebrating the books-turned-movies.
Tomorrow, we’re off to FRANCE!
