Notes for Pit:

  • BE PREPARED. You’ll get your books well in advance, so please prepare your parts on your own so our first rehearsal on Jan 31 starts smoothly.

    • If you’re chopping up your books to distribute between players (Reed 1 and 2, for example), please take care of that before first rehearsal.

    • You’ll receive the first round of cuts/edits shortly before first rehearsal, but more edits will likely happen as we rehearse together with the cast.

  • Please have a set of earphones with you at every rehearsal. Every pit musician will be on IEMs, or in-ear monitors, so you can hear playback, MD cues, and other real-time instructions.
