Notes for Pit:
BE PREPARED. You’ll get your books well in advance, so please prepare your parts on your own so our first rehearsal on Jan 31 starts smoothly.
If you’re chopping up your books to distribute between players (Reed 1 and 2, for example), please take care of that before first rehearsal.
You’ll receive the first round of cuts/edits shortly before first rehearsal, but more edits will likely happen as we rehearse together with the cast.
Please have a set of earphones with you at every rehearsal. Every pit musician will be on IEMs, or in-ear monitors, so you can hear playback, MD cues, and other real-time instructions.
